Betta fish: feeding and breeding procedure
Almond leaves aquarium
are essential for the bettas. They got this name because of male bettas. They
have some features that let these fishes live openly and happier than ever.
They are also known as siamese fighting fish.
Male bettas are slightly larger and have sharp,
vibrant colors on their skin. They are aggressive and dominant, which gives
intruders no chance to stay for a while.
They don't reside or live with other fishes; in
their native origin, which is Southeast Asia, which includes Cambodia,
Malaysia, and Thailand, a lot of fish fighting takes place. Their owner is
rewarded with cash and other goods whenever a fish is won.
Indian almond leaves
Indian almond leaves somehow have this property that
toughens the skin of the betta—resulting in them fighting for a longer duration
instead of wasting 1 minute full either dying or winning in a fight.
Healing and recovering elements are much needed when
fighting. When their skins get tough, they can heal themselves a lot quicker.
Indian almond leaves provide this trait to these bettas.
Feeding
Feeding is also an essential factor for these fish.
They need to intake that found which is rich in protein whatsoever. Besides
being rich in protein, if there are minerals, vitamins, and nutrients in that
food, they will get much more robust and much happier.
Their food includes bloodworms, blackworms, mosquito
larvae, insect larvae, and other such creatures. Low-quality food will lead
them to constipation, where once took place, a fish will be sick in a matter of
time, and if not treated sooner, that fish can even die horribly of so much
pain.
Breeding
Breeding is an essential part of their life. It lets
them generate their legacy and, as a result, be parents. But it is not more
straightforward as well. Both male and female bettas need to be in a single
tank to breed. But that can't happen anytime soon if the male betta is
aggressive and fighting with the female betta.
The easiest way to breed among these fishes is to
use almond leaves ( Indian ones ), which will ease them down and calm some
nerves.
Indian almond leaves will give the water some
effect, changing its color to dark and softening the water. The betta will
think that they are now in their native homeland.
Once this thinking has gotten a place in their mind,
they will be stress-free, happy, and much less aggressive too.
Selecting pair to
breed
Bettas are ready to mate with other bettas when they
reach the age of 4 months. Select the right pair to breed if you need the
babies or eggs to be healthy and beautiful. In other words, the right team of
parents.
So pairing them in the right way is essential for
them.
Dark water
How long do Indian almond leaves last
for breeding? They last much longer, longer than for your betta to mate. These
leaves turn the water a dark color to give them some privacy.
